White and Green Wedding Flowers at Walker’s Landing | Omni Amelia Island

September light on Amelia Island has a softness to it — warm over the marsh, luminous against white blooms.
This Walker’s Landing wedding at the Omni Amelia Island was a beautiful example of what happens when floral design is thoughtfully scaled to the venue. The palette was fresh white and layered green, timeless and coastal, with detail that felt refined rather than minimal.
Walker’s Landing is one of the most striking venues on Amelia Island. It’s expansive, open-air and framed by marsh views. And it rewards intention.
Designing for Scale at Walker’s Landing
Walker’s Landing at the Omni Amelia Island Resort features high ceilings, a wide ceremony footprint and generous reception spacing. It’s not a space for florals to whisper.
For this September celebration, the floral investment aligned with the scale of the venue. That allowed us to create designs that felt grounded in the landscape while still substantial enough to anchor the pavilion beautifully.
White and green doesn’t mean simple.
We layered calla lilies, anthuriums, ranunculus, hydrangea and delicate textural blooms like Queen Anne’s lace with lush seasonal greenery for depth and movement. The result felt coastal without being nautical and refined without feeling formal.
Ceremony Framed by the Marsh
The ceremony design at Walker’s Landing focused on proportion and placement. Rather than compete with the marsh backdrop, the florals framed it — creating a focal point that felt intentional and balanced within the wide footprint of the space.
White blooms caught the late-summer light, softening the architecture while echoing the natural tones of the Omni Amelia Island property.
Reception Details That Held Their Own
Inside the pavilion, long guest tables called for thoughtful repetition and layering.
Lush centerpieces, candlelight and cohesive personal flowers ensured the space felt complete — not sparse, not overwhelmed. Just harmonious.
When the scale of the florals matches the scale of Walker’s Landing, the entire celebration feels elevated.
