Tulips - we love them but traditionally haven't been able to grow them here because of our mild winters. But we've been working hard to bring specialty tulips to our North Florida community and are enjoying the start of our second season!

Our tulip offerings will be straight bunches (no other flowers or foliage like our typical paper-wrapped bouquets). These will be 12 stems of long-lasting, premium tulips; all locally-grown at our farm. Wrapped in kraft paper and tied with string. Not your typical grocery-store tulips!

Current availability:

🌷 Palmyra - deep purple-red double

🌷 Lambada - petals of orange and yellow with fringe

🌷 Pink Delight - white petals with soft pink edging

🌷 Louvre - delightful lavender with fringe; gorgoue blue center when open

🌷 Foxy Foxtrot - so many gorgeous pale yellow petals in this peony-style tulip, light scent

🌷 Foxtrot - white double tulip with pale pink highlights

🌷 White Valley- creamy white petals with a very unique shape and style when they open

Some Notes on Tulips at Home:

🌷 tulips can handle some time out of water and will rehydrate quickly

🌷 tulips are big drinkers; check water levels daily if not using a clear container

🌷 locally-grown tulips can have a great vase life - just keep that water fresh and clean

🌷 tulips are geotropic and phototropic meaning they can enlongate / grow and bend to light when in the vase; use a vessel with enough height to support the stems but know they have more "movement" than traditional flowers

  • All of our bouquets and arrangements are offered as LOCAL PICK UP at The Heirloom Yard.  We are a small, working flower farm and do not keep public hours.  Therefore, we request pickup date AND time at checkout to ensure your flowers are ready and we are on site.

  • Your tulips will be fresh from the cooler and tied in kraft paper for transport. Tulips can survive some time out of water with no adverse effects - but it's best to get the stems in water shortly after pickup.

To ensure the longest vase life:

    • use a clean vase or vessel for arranging
    • give your stems a fresh cut
    • ensure leaves and foliage are not below the water line
    • change the water frequently, daily is ideal
    • keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources
